ACTIVITIES IN OUR SCHOOLS IN NOVEMBER 2016

SPAIN

Roald Dalh

To mark 100 years since the birth of Roald Dah author, our students are reading and working on some of his books. Our school library coordinator and students from 6th grade have created an alphabet that will help you to discover this autor. Would you like to see it?

Click on the picture and enjoy! (once the website is opened, click on each alphabet letter and you will see our 6th grade students explaining you a curiosity about the author).

All Saints Day  "DUŠIČKY" Halloween

A few days ago we celebrated All Saint´s Day in Czech Republic known as Dušičky (2nd November). Because we are learning english, we had all day Halloween´s project on the 1st grade! :)

We created lanterns, baked bun from the pumpkins,  carved pumpkins and talked about Jack O'Lantern.
In our school there was an exhibition of pumpkins. We created a very scary corner :).

Halloween isn´t our holiday. Pumpkins aren´t typical for our country. We are creating wreaths, visiting the graves and light candles.

PATRON’S DAY

On the 28th of November our students celebrated the School Patron’s Day of Adam Mickiewicz. He was widely regarded as the greatest poet in the history of Polish literature. Our 6th level students prepared the performance about life of our patron Adam Mickiewicz. After that, we watched the national dances.
